President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that he has invited the loved ones of a Guard member fatally shot last week to come to the executive mansion.

He mentioned that he conversed with her parents and they were “devastated”.

Soldier Sarah Beckstrom, 20, was killed in a violent incident on last Wednesday in Washington DC.

Her fellow service member, US air force staff Sgt Andrew Wolfe, twenty-four years old, is still in the hospital in critical condition.

The commander-in-chief stated he’s talked about a visit to the White House for the parents of both individuals of the state National Guard.

“I told them: ‘When you’re ready, because that’s a hard experience, arrive at the White House. We’re going to recognize her,” Trump told the press. “And similarly with him, recover or not.”

Mourners came together over the past few days at a local school in West Virginia to pay respects to Sarah.

Both they had been serving with the state guard as part of the president’s federal initiative to aid public safety in Washington DC.

She conducted herself with inner fortitude, a warm expression and a upbeat demeanor that inspired people around her,” Jarrod Hankins, the head of her former high school, informed the press. “She was caring, compassionate and always willing to support those in need.”

Officials have indicted a 29-year-old individual from Afghanistan with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder while carrying a weapon.

“She had a lot of goodness and she absolutely had courage,” Morrisey told the crowd at the service. “Though her life lasted far too short, she has left a mark that’s going to be remembered always.”
